Venus de Cartoixà 2019

The Venus made with Cartoixà is a very especial wine for us, because we want to achieve a very ambitious goal with it: making a great Mediterranean white wine for ageing.

It is a 100% Cartoixà wine which comes from half a hectare of old vines, 60-years old vines, which grow in a clayey-calcareous plot in the Falset subzone.

It is a natural wine which ferments in a 600-l barrel for between 3 and 6 months. It is bottled after 12/14 months of ageing in the same barrel, and then it is kept at least for 2 years in the bottle.
